Free and Donation Based Yoga around the Austin Metro Area
Springtime in Austin is one of the best times to practice yoga around Austin, especially outdoors before the temps rise over 100 degrees. You know what I'm talking about yogis! In April and May, there are even more opportunities available to join free or donation-based classes whether inside or out. No matter your experience level, you'll find something on our list!
Whole Foods Market Downtown: Head to the rooftop plaza for a 6 pm class accompanied by live music. Show up early to get your spot!
Accompany your early morning savasana with a cup of Joe. Every Tuesday morning from 8 to 9 am, Cherrywood Coffeehouse hosts a free flow class. Lauren Rosprim offers a donation based chair yoga class at Noon at The Hill on Woodland.
Head to the Laura Bush Library for Prime of Life Yoga, a gentle flow class for adults held at 6:30 pm.
Every other Thursday morning, the Wells Branch Community Library holds a morning class, from 10:30 to 11:45 am.
Start your weekend off right with Yoga on the Plaza from 8 - 8 am in Round Rock, brought to you by The Yoga Room. Or Yoga in the Park hosted by WeViva. Classes continue through spring 10 to 11 am. Don’t forget to bring your own mat!
Head to the HOPE Farmers Market for a Noon class, because yoga and farm-fresh produce pair together like PB&J. Or, check out Eastside Yoga, where all Sunday classes are by donation only and there is no minimum.

Once a month, Hyatt Regency hosts Pints and Poses, an all-levels vinyasa class plus a complimentary beer. Also, check out Austin Yoga Meet Up for free monthly classes — all proceeds go towards local charities.
Communities for Recovery offers free classes M/W/F, 12-1pm - Hatha, W, 5:30-6:30pm - Hatha Flow. Mats and props are available.
Community Yoga Austin offers a donation based class on the First Sunday of each month at various studios. Donations benefit CoYa's mission to support yogis and community members actively engaged in serive, community healing and social change.
Donation-based Sunset Flow
Austin Yoga Truck - 7800 S. 1st Street, Mondays, 6 PM
This is an all-levels flow in an outdoor setting. Enjoy yoga in a community setting with your neighbors and the great outdoors. Mats are on hand for those that need to borrow. No experience required! Domain Fitness Group provides yoga on the turf in front of the IPic Theater at 7 pm Mondays beginning March 27th.
Full Moon Yoga with Charles MacInerney is a free, outdoor Full Moon Yoga and Meditation Class at a scenic overlook each month. The practice includes some gentle Hatha Yoga, a 20 minute meditation,
Jerry Balderas offers donation based yoga M-Th 9:30am-11am at The Void Martial Arts
Monthly Community Meditation on the last Friday of every month at Yoga Yoga Westgate. All donations go to a different charity each month.
Modo Yoga in North Central Austin offers a donation Class each Wednesday 8 pm. Suggested donation :$5.
At Practice Yoga on East 6th street, all classes are donation based.
Studio Mantra Thursday mornings 7:30-8 a.m. yoga instructors lead a free, donation-based offering of mantra and meditation. Donations will benefit a different charity or non-profit organization each month.
Treehouse Yoga in Rollingwood offers a donation class to benefit a charity each Wednesday at Noon.
