Anna was introduced to yoga in 2010 during her first year of college and has found a home in the practice ever since. Her favorite styles blend structure and form through vinyasa sequencing. She sees yoga a vital component to her life, and hopes to own a non-profit yoga shala and is driven by a vision for social justice. Anna believes in the power of yoga to transform the mind-body connection and dreams of the day that she can bridge barriers that prevent all people and communities from accessing yoga and meditation. She currently works for People’s Community Clinic as a Development Associate. Before that, she was serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA. She also holds a degree in Sociology from Tulane University. Her intention with the Austin Yoga Hub is to connect resources and create community so that more Austinites can find a yoga home.
